This can be you

The following are case studies – real stories of patients of mine who followed The Recipe and turned their health and life around. If you can relate to one of these stories, take a leap of faith and book now because your story can very well be posted here someday.

TC

TC was a 22-year-old female enrolled in a demanding medical degree. She came to me with a main concern of acid reflux which she'd had for years and was taking 11 drugs, most of which were prescribed to her by her doctor for said main concern. Her appetite was low – especially upon waking in the morning – she could barely stomach any food besides just a few items, she had insomnia and would be wide awake at night and therefore tired the next day, and she had to sleep propped up so she would not get acid reflux.

TC had a lot of childhood trauma which definitely linked to her concerns which she was seeing a licensed therapist for. With that in mind, I helped her find her food triggers and realize that anxiety was at the root of her low appetite and aversion to foods, especially in the morning. With that discovery, along with a herb to protect, soothe and heal her mucus membranes from the acid, and some lifestyle changes to manage her sleep, TC went from taking 11 drugs to 6 within a span of about 6 months. She was also able to stop napping during the day and would sleep a full 9hrs every night with no interruption, finding herself laying flat on her bed with no need to be propped up. Most significantly, she was able to expand her food palate and was not afraid to begin experimenting with food again.

DO

DO was a 26-year-old female who came to me with a main concern of diarrhea that began after a camping trip. She had never had any gut issues until that trip and was prescribed multiple rounds of antibiotics by her doctor which proved unhelpful. She was always tired and feeling weak since she was not absorbing enough nutrients and had some infection lingering.

I had DO start probiotics to repopulate her microbiome and take amino acids and herbs to begin healing her gut lining. Whatever infection DO still had, or damage caused by such infection, we were able to begin remedying almost immediately over the span of 1 month as DO, for once in 2 years, began having normal, formed stools.

FH

FH was a 28-year-old female who came to me with a main concern of short menstrual cycles and heavy and irregular periods. She was constantly feeling tired with a hard time focusing during work, as well as having a low appetite in the morning. With the excess loss of blood at recurring short intervals, it was no surprise that FH was feeling as she was.

With lab work, tracking her period, and herbal and neutraceutical support, we regulated FH's menstrual cycle from about 21 days to 28, as well as decreased her heavy bleeding, over the span of 6 months. We also uncovered that her low morning appetite was due to her stressing about work, so we began working on stress management techniques which helped her begin eating breakfast again, even if a little bit.

AL

AL was a 39-year-old female who worked as a social worker in a hospital. She came to me with a main concern of iron deficiency anemia. She also had a ringing in her ear and would have severe PMS symptoms, primarily irritability, for decades.

We began with lab work which revealed multiple deficiencies which we started to treat a week before she was expected to begin her PMS. Seeing her after that week when she should have had PMS, she expressed to me that for the first time in decades, she had no irritability, at all. She also noticed that the ringing in her ear had subsided and that her energy was beginning to increase.

RE

RE was a 45-year-old male who worked as a caregiver in his community. He came to me with a main concern of chronic constipation. He would spend more than 30min in the washroom pushing, every morning, trying to pass a bowel movement which would not happen for days. Every day after his efforts, he would lie down for another 30min exhausted, and this was affecting his schedule and ability to work, always being a constant worry.

Upon investigation, RE disclosed that when he was a child, he lived through unsettling times, not knowing when a washroom would be available, so he would hold his bowels in for an extended period of time. This was definitely the root cause of his concern, and while we did not have time to work through his trauma, we altered his diet ever so slightly and adjusted his environment to aid in the passage of stool. After decades of dealing with this issue, RE finally began fully passing well-formed stools, with ease, every single day, and had that much more energy to help his community, all over the span of about 1 month. He could not believe it.
