What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic Medicine is a form of primary care medicine that focuses on the whole person and their individual needs. It is a holistic approach to health care that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The principles of Naturopathic Medicine are to treat the root cause of illness, to do no harm, to focus on prevention, to support the body's natural healing processes, and to treat the whole person. It is the original form of medicine, now backed by science.
Are your services covered under OHIP?

How soon can I expect results?
Naturopathic treatment duration varies depending on individual circumstances and health concerns. While some individuals may experience improvements in a short period, others may require longer-term care. Naturopathic Medicine focuses on addressing the root causes of health issues, which may require time for healing and rebalancing. The duration of treatment is influenced by factors such as the complexity of the condition, overall health status, adherence to treatment protocols, and lifestyle factors. Expect to commit weeks to months, maybe even a year, for true healing.
Are you against modern medicine?
No, especially when surgery or drugs are required for an emergent matter. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I am trained in working with pharmaceucitals and I know when to refer a patient to the applicable physician. However, modern medicine, while revolutionary, falls short on many fronts, mainly treating the symptom and not the root cause, compartmentalizing the human body instead of treating it as a whole, undermining prevention, and disregarding the soul that resides in it.
What is healing mind, body and soul?
